You didn't think this was over, did you? Just as some people still think OJ is as pure as the driven snow, there are some DUers who think.... Well, let's get to the story.
Lab Chief From Lacrosse Case Leaves JobAssociated Press

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — The head of a private laboratory that provided DNA testing of three former Duke lacrosse players falsely accused of rape no longer works for the company.
Brian Meehan declined to discuss his departure from DNA Security Inc., but said he could comment later this week.
Information omitted from the lab's initial report helped unravel the case against the three players, and the omission played a large role in the downfall of the case's prosecutor, former Durham County District Attorney Mike Nifong.
In May 2006, two months after a woman hired to perform as a stripper at a lacrosse team party told police she was raped, Meehan's lab produced a report that said none of the lacrosse players who underwent DNA testing matched evidence collected from the accuser.
But the report failed to note that DNA from other men — none of whom were lacrosse players — was found on or about the woman. The information was eventually turned over to defense attorneys, but only amid thousands of pages of raw testing data.
