kucinich points (6956) - gore points(6258)= 698 point lead

27(contributions left) X 40 (maximum steps for highest contribution)= 1080 possible points left

it is possible for gore to win but its got to be a shut out for the rest of the contributions. Go kucinich go

The country declares Hillary Clinton President...And those that donated and would not vote is because there were too too many really dirty tricks against HER. Why waste the steps when the green eyed monster is out in full force...go President Clinton kick that butt.

being told someone so many dislike so strongly is inevitable.

It isn't necessarily the 'green eyed monster' but honest feelings for a GREAT MANY people

54. What's the point of posting something like this?
I've seen numerous posts where someone was complaining about Clinton and one of the Clinton supporters responded with "sour grapes." Well, what is this post if not "sour grapes"? Kucinich did win this contest on DU based on the rules of the game and Clinton came in third-to-last. You may not like the "dirty tricks" that took place, but if such tactics on an online message board piss you off this much, how are you going to feel about what goes down in the real election should Clinton become the Democratic nominee?

BTW, the country hasn't declared Clinton *anything* yet, and the whole "inevitability" thing regarding her that some of her supporters insist on shoving down everyone's throat isn't helping to persuade anyone who isn't already in the Clinton camp, I can guarantee you that.

Edited on Sun Nov-18-07 12:55 PM by Cleita
according to the media, don't do so well in unofficial polls among liberals. Thom Hartman did a straw poll on Friday and Edwards won with kucinich not far behind. (I think Gore was second and Kucinish third, but the memory is dim right now.) Other unofficial polls I have run across have had similar results. So I will really be wondering when the primaries are over if Hillary or Obama is the winner.

People know the Clintons and may reply yes simply becuz they know that name, it is really meaningless to make predictions on that,
I have read that the last CNN dem debate was the most heavily watched primary debate ever, that's what is going to matter.

25. What a waste of money.
Hillary already has millions from fat cat corporate donors that she will have to pay back in legislative favors should she become President. (Gotta veto that drug importation bill cause big PHARMA wouldn't like it.) Your tiny donation will buy no influence whatsoever. Yet, since Kucinich's campaign is mostly small donors like yourself, that $25 buys lots of influence should he become President.

fucking out of it around this place. I support DK. Sent money, the whole 9 yards. Pray for Gore to enter ( there is hell. there are the snowballs). Hedge my ( insanely long-shot) bet with Edwards (right). So I've got to be one of the most out-to-lunch-relative-to-middle America and polls and all that shit. This isn't a slam on any of the other candidates. I am tired of all the ad hominems. Honest to God I am. And when it comes down to it, whoever you think is our worst candidate is still so far far far superior to the best Republican, that 99% of us who aren't happy will suck it up and go with the nominee. We have a great field, and some days, I want 1/4 of one, and 12% of another.

So, with that said, as a collective group if this Fun Run is any indication, we are all so fucking out of it. And no matter who you support, good for all of us, because at least we give a shit.

on edit: there is no such thing as a best Republican, only degrees of evil or nuts.
