1. Fox "News" is a fake "news" show.
So is most of CNN.

7. DING DING DING! AX10, you're our grand prize winner!
Fox "News" IS...fake "news"...So is most of CNN.

And that's exactly why The Half Hour News Hour is an instant laughingstock.

What do Stewart and Colbert know about fake news that Fox doesn't? They know where the fake news IS--at places like Fox and CNN! Their claim that they fake the news is just a diversion: they don't HAVE to fake the news because it's ALREADY fake! All they do is point out how fake the real news is, and THAT'S why Stewart and Colbert are funny!

The Half Hour News Hour, unfortunately, seems to believe Stewart and Colbert are funny because they spend most of their time insulting conservatism. It tries to retaliate by insulting liberalism, but nobody's laughing--why? It's because The Half Hour News Hour is rooted in fake news. Sine it can't condemn liberals without exposing its own sins, it can't help but congeal into a cringe-inducing caricature of the Fox News channel. I mean, where does it get off making fun of Obama's media hype when Fox News just finished trying to destroy him with a false story that they STILL haven't retracted?

It may be possible to do a successful satire of a satire, but it hasn't been done yet--and it certainly hasn't been done by The Half Hour News Hour!

6. They obviously got that screen grab
at the very moment he learned about Keith Olbermann's new contract...and that it includes opportunities to do pieces for NBC Nightly News.

Poor Billo...stuck there in the ghetto of mere cable news, where only a few million or so geezers watch him every night...he used to laugh at Keith's paltry ratings, but I suspect Keith's ratings on NBC won't be quite so paltry compared to Bill's.

Call the "waaaaa"ambulance...Billo's going code red!!!!
