What if Italy kidnapped the indicted CIA agents?
So, 13 CIA agents kidnapped an innocent Italian Muslim man and flew him to Egypt where he was tortured. Now these CIA agents have been indicted by an Italian court, but Bush will refuse all efforts by the Italian government to extradite these individuals to Italy where they can be prosecuted.

So, wouldn't it be rough justice if the Italian government turned the extraordinary rendition program on its head? What if the Italians dispatched secret agents to the US for the purpose of kidnapping the CIA agents, putting them on a private plane, and flying them to Italy for trial?

Sure, that would probably violate international law.

But wouldn't Bush look kind of silly if he complained about that one?

1. There's complaining, and then there's dispatching SEAL teams
It wouldn't end with words, so I don't see this ever getting inside a courtroom for real.

5. Did the CIA kidnap him in Italy or the US?

If that was in Italy, then your suggestion would be a very interesting turn about of play

9. Thats incredible!

I had read about some of this, but that article says there were over 1200 cases across Europe.

And of course, its published on a Saturday.. another Friday pm news dump. And if thats not enough, they buried it in the 'world' section.

Ottawa Valley man abducted by U.S. bounty hunters
Last Updated: Tuesday, November 23, 2004 | 4:11 PM ET
CBC News

Canadian officials are trying to free an Ottawa Valley man who was abducted by American bounty hunters, then thrown in a U.S. jail after they tried to smuggle him across the border.
It's the first known case of U.S. bounty hunters snatching someone from Canada since 1981, Foreign Affairs officials say.

On Monday, Canadian consular staff visited Ken Weckwerth – who is wanted in Ohio for skipping bail on drug charges – to try to win his release from the jail in Buffalo, N.Y.

The bounty hunters tracked down Weckwerth, 59, at his girlfriend's home in Golden Lake, about 121 kilometres west of Ottawa.

His girlfriend, Madeline Granzie, said two burly men knocked on her door last week, flashed badges, then ordered her to take her dog outside while they talked with Weckwerth.

Just throw some money around and they will show up.

13. Well
they know their real names, and pretty much everything else about them. They might not be so hard to find. I suppose they could always go into the government's witness protection program.

11. You mean the way that Israel kidnapped Eichmann, took him back, had a
trial, and executed him?

12. LOL, A reverse rendition situation
It would be kind of hard for the bush cabal to complain about something that they did as well but we do know they don't connect the dots so they would yell long and loud about it while I
