Fixing the Ariline Delay Problem
Is there any place someone can go in order to study the airlne delay problem so they can try to come up with a solution to the problem? Is there any place that tell what is causing airline delays?

1. Antiquated equipment + Understaffed ATCers + Not enough runways =
the problem. It's really not a huge mystery. It's not all one thing but a combination of things that have been ignored and left to fester for far too long.

4. Relative of mine is an AA pilot and says it's the lack of Air Traffic Controllers
Edited on Tue Nov-20-07 09:31 AM by KoKo01
that's the problem. I asked him if opening the Military Lanes would help...and he said "not really...it's the lack of Air Traffic Controllers that they don't want to tell the public about."

5. That and not enough runway space
Too many planes want to land at the same place at the same time. There's not enough pavement for the traffic and not enough controllers to handle the traffic.
