There Is No Such Thing As Global Warming
Well, okay, there actually is global warming, but there is also global cooling. However, in order to better convey the message, I think we should do away with the phrase "global warming" and use "global climate change" instead. How many times do we have to hear people mention how cold it is in their area, ergo there is obviously no global warming? I'm sure many of us are already using the phrase "global climate change" in lieu of "global warming", but I thought I'd throw this out there in the hopes of converting a few more people. Let's act on Global Climate Change!!!!!

"global climate crisis."

"climate change" is THEIR invention, and they force fed it to the national media because it suggests it's part of the course of nature, so there's no point in spending (corporate/oil) money on resolving it.

2. I had not heard that
To me it makes sense to call it climate change, because it will affect different areas of the world in different ways. Some get warmer, others colder, some experience drought, others flooding. At least progress is being made. 5 years ago, the majority of the population said there was no climate change. Now it is accepted by almost everyone, and the debate has changed from whether or not itexists to what is causing the change. That's movement in the right direction. As Aerosmith said, "Chip away....chip away at the stone"
