Big Heat On McLaughlin Group tonight
Tony Blankley asserted that the U.S. has been involved in Iraq since the early 90s. The guest, Christia Freeland, called him disingenuous because there's a huge difference between the 1st Iraq War and our day to day involvement now. He came unglued. He called her "honey" which she balked at.

Blankley looks a mess tonight. I suspect he's got some virus thing. Face pale but blotchy. It was great to see someone smack him down. I thought his head was going to explode.

3. Good to see the Tone sweat.
He was a bit off his game. Had to keep claiming he believed what he said. That broke me up.

6. He's A Lush
This week's show doesn't come on here to til tomorrow, but looks like I'll be enjoying it again. Blankley's looked two sheets to the wind for a while now. The dude's known in the beltway party circuit as being a two-fisted drinker...in the league with Hitchens and the rest of his AEI and Moonie Times buddies.

7. blankie is in the unfortunate position of being a bush apologist. I would be
a heavy drinker too if that was my mission.

9. I didn't notice his suit!
But I don't think he was all pimped out yesterday.

I wish they'd flashed the camera on Eleanor Clift when the guest dropped the bomb on Blankley. And I hope the two women at least went out for coffee afterwards. I bet Eleanor got a major laugh out of the whole thing.

We get the show on Sunday mornings as a repeat. I've got to see that again.
