RNC is hung up on Hillary - what does this mean?
Four years ago at this time the rnc.org (gop.com) web site had "dossiers" on all the Democratic candidates who were in the running at that time. The standard, "(name) is a DANGEROUS LIBERAL!" stuff, 99.999% of which was BS. But at least they covered all the candidates, and eliminated each one as they dropped out. Now, if you go to rnc.org (gop.com), all you see is Hillary, Hillary, Hillary. Do they know something the rest of us don't?

2. The Rethugs know perfectly well that their candidates suck like a black hole

so they've gone to Plan B: Help get Hillary in as the Dem nominee, then turn on her like a rattlesnake because she'll be easiest to beat. And if she wins anyway, they'll have no problem controlling her through her lobbyist/DLC ties.

4. Have they turned on her too soon?
It's not a sure thing yet, is it?

5. They WANT it to be a sure thing as badly as SHE does, LOL!

Bush has said that he thinks she'll be the Dem candidate, and in his first story for Newsweek magazine, Karl Rove did, too. Those are practially official marching orders. At one of the few Republican debates, all the candidates discussed how they'd go against Hillary. Karl Rove's article gives instructions on how to beat Hillary. She hasn't exactly shunned the advances of Rupert Murdoch. The vast majority of the Dem election coverage is centered around Hillary, including whining about how the others were "piling on" her as if it has never happened in politics before. And if it weren't for the Guiliani-Kerik-Regan mess, there would hardly any Republican election coverage at all. None of that is accidental.

16. Not entirely, but they are doing their share to make it a reality. If she does get
the democratic nomination her whole campaign for us democratic voters will be to vote for Hillary only to piss off the republicans. This country deserves so much more than that! We need a leader that will repair our relationship with the rest of the world and has a vision for a better tomorrow!

7. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Nothing used to get the right wing pockets open wide than a mention of the Clenis or the Hillarybeast. It made Coultergeist a "best seller" and helped push Faux Noise to the Orwellian Propaganda machine it is today.

The other day I saw the RNC had raised about 25% of what the DNC had...those goons are hurtin', so who do they turn to to crank up the cash machines? The boogiewoman they've long been fearing and building up...Hillary.

One of the few uniting factors among the disolving Repugnican party is Clinton hate...and the RNC is going to the well one more time cause they can't promote their own record of dismal failure.

10. Even though it upsets some here in DU, the FACT is
republicans hate the Clintons and they want to run against her. They know it will be a sure fire way to get their base to the polls. Even the ones who probably would sit this election out.

15. Exactly.
They know that a Hillary nomination would galvanize conservatives to turn out and vote against her like no other nominee possibly could.

11. They want us to destroy her for them.
As anyone with half a brain can see, the republicans say they love Hillary and want her to be our nominee because they say they can beat her. The Democrats, especially bloggers here on DU, are doing a marvelous job of destroying her. She will be so weakened from the constant barrage from her own party, that the republicans can sit back and propel their loser of a candidate into the WH.

14. Hillary can end the "constant barrage" by incorporating the progessive end of the party.

If the theory is that the Dems have to stay right to appear centrist were really true, we wouldn't have done as well as we did last November.

17. I suggest we stop all this paranoia over the right wing & Hillary.
For one thing I'm not going to let the right wing determine how I'm going to vote. And for those who think Hillary can't win against the Republican's, think again! Her husband beat them twice and he was the last Democrat to beat them! So if anyone can win in November it ought to be her. She stands as good a chance as anybody.
