Rove in Newsweek?
His opinions are valueless, regardless of who the Dem nominee is. Funny how he lays out his ideas but neglects to mention his advice in his one area of expertise -- the dirty tricks arena.

How to Beat Hillary (Next) November

"The GOP nominee must highlight his core convictions to help people understand who he is and to set up a natural contrast with Clinton, both on style and substance. Don't be afraid to say something controversial. The American people want their president to be authentic. And against a Democrat who calculates almost everything, including her accent and laugh, being seen as someone who says what he believes in a direct way will help.

. . .

"You are picking on me just because I am a multi-millionaire Connecticut yankee preppy cheerleader occult Skull & Bones AWOL business failure who pretends to be a tough-guy Texas good old buckaroo who is there where you need him. In my book, that's uncool."

6. I have been a Newsweek subscriber for over thirty years but will cancel my subscription now.
I can not believe they would give space in their pages to a TRAITOR to the USA.

8. I canceled my subscription yesterday.
When I told the representative why I was canceling, she asked me if I wanted the email address for the editors. I got the impression I was one of many people calling to cancel over their hiring of Rove. I also gave the editors a piece of my mind.

12. Newsweak Used To Be "Liberal"
While Time...especially in its early days under Henry Luce...was very right wing. These days of corporate media it's become a Pepsi/Coke argument for most...a matter of preference. I get both here (along with U.S. News) and depending on the story and the week, both magazine can be brilliant or lame.

14. It's that phony gimmick of "presenting both sides"
I subscribe to Newsweek, but I've seen over the past few years how they as well as Time need to answer to their corporate masters, presenting two sides of just about any topic as though they are always equal. When they have an article that criticizes Republicans, they almost always find something to also criticize Democrats with, even though they are never equal arguments. But using Rove, who somehow managed to escape indictment by Fitzgerald, strikes me as really low.

13. Dance Karl Dance
Turdblossom is the most dangerous when we can't see or hear him. For years he hid inside the White House and surely his ego was chomping to brag about his "successes" and take his shot as a talking bobblehead. It's easy money and that is what Karl is raking in right now. The column also helps him in lining up the college and rubber chicken speaking gigs.

As far as what he spews, I want to see that as well. You can't beat the machine until you understand what makes it work. Rove can be very transparent in his words and actions...he's a master spinner but just can't keep his ego in check. His writings show it.

If anything, his visibility is a liability to most Repugnicans now. He's come to represent all the corruption of the boooosh regime and can pretend he left at the top of his game...the rest of us know he was banished and discredited. The ultimate verdict on the "Rove legacy" will be next November...and "the math" doesn't look favorable for him. Let's see how he tries to make 1 + 1 = 4.
