1. That is how most internet ads work
The advertiser pays a small fee for each pass-through. Click early; click often! :toast:

4. Mozilla Firefox
If Giuliani is advertising through Google Ads he pays for every click through. It is probably anywhere from $.05 or more. Google has methods to determine if a click through is unique but there are ways to circumvent it. There is a Mozilla Firefox plugin made for this purpose.

A single person can easily rack up a few hundred bucks in fees if the webmaster isn't watching his logs for click through fraud (it is fraud if you are making money placing Google Ads on your website and generating fake click throughs). I advertised on Google before and had to block other countries because of this problem. There are companies that make money using this tactic. It is a huge problem for Google.

5. He is using Google Adsense
Put a clothespin over your nose, hold your breath and type : "vote republican" and click submit. Look over to the right sidebar. Woops, there he is. ;)

7. Adsense is for Webmasters, Adwords is for Advertisers
Edited on Wed Nov-21-07 02:36 PM by tesla78
Google Adwords is for placing advertisements such as banners, text, and keyword search results. Adsense is for the webmasters that display Google ads on their site. Google and the webmaster gets paid per clickthrough. Any Republican site that carries Google Ads will likely contain Giuliani's advertisements.
