Just when I thought I had heard it all this freeper blows a 10 on the dumb scale
This freeper posted this to me several hours ago and I am still LOL and can't stop. The topic was the troops and the lack of body armor and other equipment they need. So this freeper compares the war in Iraq with a fight in a bar!! LOLOLOLOL

Well sometimes you do have to fight with what you have. If someone start some crap with you in a bar, are you going to take care of business with what you have or what for something that you don't have while you get your teeth kicked in?

This really is a poor way to make your argument. This is good news for our troop over there.

We invaded Iraq 05/01/03 - I think the (mis)administration had plenty of time to find a bit more than what was available in "the bar" at the time.

That guy makes it sound like they struck and we immediately struck back.

But, you're right - the only way to deal with something like that is to :rofl: because anything else and I might be looking for whatever's close to hand.

8. A big difference in his analogy is that
WE started this war. His example says "if someone starts some crap with you". Well, Iraq didn't stop this crap with us. We chose this fight. And I seem to recall Shrub saying something a long time ago, before the war, about how we would take the fight to Iraq at a time of our choosing.

So ask this freeper if we're really stupid enough to have "the time of our choosing" be a time when we don't have proper equipment for the fight.

I haven't heard that expression since the 70s. LOL

On another thread, I asked him how he was supporting the troops. He said he had 3 buddies over there and he sends them magazines. So I told him the magazine stand next to the bar where he fights is having a sale and he had better run down there.

branches of our military. New recruits actually train in dive bars.

All you need to know about modern warfare can be learned on a few Saturday nights in the local beer joint.


We want to keep a tight budget on military costs, since Halliburton and Dick Cheney don't quite have enough money yet, so there's really no sense investing in body armour or decent gun cleaning supplies or food for our troops.

Just give em a jukebox and some broken bottles and bad nachos and our trooops can win!

Support the troops!
