yup the surge is working

the seals will hold

there is no inflation

unemployment is at record lows

The economy has never been better

The falling dollar has no real significance

Oil will not go above 40 dollars a barrel

oil will not go above 50 dollars a barrel

oil will stabilize at 60 dollars a barrel

oil can maintain a price of 70 dollars a barrel

The economy can well handle 80 dollars a barrel without problems

The worst is over in the subprime mortgage crisis

Forclosures are well contained

There will be no recession

Iraq is an immediate threat to us

Iraq has WMDs

Iran has WMDs

No one in my staff outed a CIA agent

I could go on, but I think you got my point. The question is will the American people realize it before it is too late?

1. How many of the wounded would have died in previous conflicts
People can look at that 3874 number and say, hey, it's no Vietnam. But we've all read the reports that advances in battlefield medical care has allowed many to survive, often with severe injuries, who might have died in earlier conflicts. Think about how the public response to this war from the RW might be different if we were looking at over 10,000 dead, to say nothing of the response if the draft were to be reinstated.
