I am looking for a President that understands the need for change
The person that has seen what we have experienced for the last 7 years and cannot understand the damage that has been done and the changes that need to be made, is not qualified, in my mind, to be President of our country. We need changes to protect our Constitution. We need changes to our tax laws. We need changes in our healthcare system. We need changes that will protect the poor and the working classes, rather than just the wealthy. We need our laws to be enforced. We need ethics reform. We need voting reforms. There needs to be wholesale change in the status quo. The candidate that cannot see that necessity does not have my support. We need radical change - similar to the change in 1932 - in my opinion.

2. Can you say Obama? Perhaps Edwards?
Or if you're a pub how 'bout Huckabee or Ron Paul?

4. Commit to Open Government accountable to the people and this country would GET the
change it needs on EVERY issue.

Open the books. Closed government protects the secrecy and privilege of all those who have been in the way of honest change and accountability.

7. I respectfully disagree...
We cannot afford any more leaders with "R's" by their name but we also cannot afford leaders at this time with "D's" by their name if they are going to act as caretakers of the present status quo. We need change. We not only want change - we need change. If the "D" cannot offer that, then we are not looking at a whole lot of improvement over the present situation..
