The real war on Christmas
I've gotten used to the ubiquitous background music featuring Christmas carols in stores. I try to stay out of stores after Thanksgiving, so it's not really a problem for me. But now I've seen at least two TV ads featuring Christmas carols. There are plenty of secular Christmas songs to choose from. It just seems wrong to me to use religious songs to sell electronics.

As for Happy Holidays vs Merry Christmas at a retail establishment: If you want a religious experience while shopping it must be because you worship consumer goods.
