Poll question: Is The Annapolis Peace Conference A Diversion?
There will be no peace because of Annapolis. The meeting is, at best, a sham. Thrown together at the last minute with not a chance of success; last friday news sources were reporting that invitations for the meeting had been sent out but not one world leader had responded yet that they were coming. Bush has given the matter nothing but lip-service for 7 long years and now as time peters out he finds it important? In a pig's ass.

So, with that as the background let me ask the question.

Do you think that the Annapolis Peace Conference is nothing but a diversion to divert our attention from another atrocity by his unitary Administration?

1. When did he schedule it?

I know it's happening today but when was it announced?

Nevermind, found my answer. It was announced on November 21, 2007. Exactly 5 days after it was announced that President Gore would be returning to the White House for the traditional meeting of Nobel Laureates - scheduled for, November 26, 2007

Once again the Bushies surprised with their basilisk's audacity, responding to the Nov. 2006 vote by ESCALATING THE CONFLICT.

Think a pouty child who has the power of a demi-god Caesar over hundreds of millions, even billions (if one includes various Bushie Vassals like Bushharraf and our conquered terrotory in Imperial Freedomstan, formerly Iraq) and has been kept from having his way lashing out at those who dared rebuke him.

We are lucky. In Caligula's time, what We the People tried to do... that would have meant personal agony for millions. Now it is only our sons and daugters, brothers and sisters who die and suffer for Imperial Whim. Them and the Empire's dead victims, now well over a million.

2. The three main participants
really have nothing to lose, each of them have their own agendas, and it looks better to make an attempt than to do nothing at all.
