CSPAN3 is rerunning 09/01/00 Panel with comments by Paul Wellstone and others...

They are reviewing the Clinton Administration and lost opportunities, among other issues.

However, the comments by Paul Wellstone are prescient. He said that the influence of moneyed interests threaten our ability to exercise 'self-rule'.

It is easy to see why Wellstone would viewed as a threat to corporate interests.

If people had listened to him in 2000 we might have avoided the BUSH disaster.
