WH: "The president is very pleased" that both Gore and wife Tipper attending ceremony

Gore is coming to the White House as part of a ceremony to honor the American recipients of various Nobel Prizes. He shared the Nobel Peace prize for his work on global warming.

Bush will meet privately with Gore in the Oval Office before the photo opportunity with the other Nobel winners, said press secretary Dana Perino.

"The president is very pleased" that both Gore and wife Tipper will be at the White House, Perino said. Bush personally called Gore to invite him.

The Nobel ceremony itself is an annual event, Perino said. "It's a wonderful opportunity to recognize their achievements," she said.

5. At a private meeting? Probably not at all.
I bet it will be small talk.

8. Actually the private meeting is the most likely place for Gore to lobby Smirk
The photo op with the Nobel Laureates will be just that - - Smirk standing and grinning surrounded by all the Nobel Laureates. Last year, Cheney did the photo op with the Nobel Laureates.

9. I'm saying that there's no point.
Unless Bush specifically asks, he doesn't care. And I don't think Bush cares. That's why it's a "photo-op" instead of a ceremony.

that Al Gore Contribute to the Republicans by paying Fifty bucks to have his picture taken with "the pResident"..

Godamned drunken stupid drug addict.. I really wish Gore would just kick his ass the fuck out of OUR White House, then come out wiping his hands and say, "The Long National Nightmare is OVER..."
