People actually want to "Save Tucker"?

Save Tucker?

“Rumors have been flying recently that Tucker Carlson could soon be on the way out at MSNBC.” Tucker’s show is “in real danger of being canceled,” according to an NBC official, but the right won’t let him go down without a fight. TVNewswer reports that a few of Tucker’s die-hard fans have launched a petition drive to “save Tucker.” The group’s webpage states, “This decision by MSNBC will silence a conservative voice, part of a move by MSNBC to swing left and become ‘FOX for the Liberals,’ dropping any pretense of objectivity or balance.

Tucker recently signed off his MSNBC show with this comment: “That does it for us. Thank you for watching, as always. We mean that sincerely to all eight of you.” MSNBC management was reportedly “infuriated” at Tucker’s flippant sign-off. Contact MSNBC here and tell them what you think of Tucker’s show:

1. I actually like his show
Because he is more tolerable than most conservatives on TV. Not to mention he always seems to have at least one liberal on to disagree with him and I like watching them argue cuz they all know their stuff.

2. If they get rid of him, it shouldn't be because of his point of view, it should be because he sucks.
Pat Buchanan is an MSNBC regular with a recurring role on a variety of talking head shows, and he's to the right of Atilla The Hun. The difference between Pat and Tucker? Pat gives "good TV" and Tucker just gives obnoxious, smarmy shit to his viewers.

I don't care for a total "Me, Too" chorus on TV--I like diversity of opinion, so long as ALL SIDES are fairly heard. I don't go for the shout down or the 'talk over' crap.

Only people who are afraid of the 'other' view won't let it be heard. That's why Faux is what it is...

8. "FOX for the Liberals"...
...it'll never happen as long as Tweety continues to profess his love for Bush's "great Neo-Conservative mind..."

There's also "Morning Joe," which speaks for itself.

9. I won't go out of my way to "save" him, but he's still better than
Rita Cosby. Be careful what you wish for, Pat Buchanan can replace him

I also saw a snippet somewhere he was going to be a game show host? I need to pay better attention to Tucker news :D
