Let us be clear here - I am voting for whoever wins the Dem nomination.
I will let the rest of you kill each other over your candidates for the next year, at your leisure.

IMNSHO, you are all waisting a huge amount of time and energy fighting over who it will be. But. Have at it.

I'm sure it will be endless entertainment for the Other Site We Don't Like Typing.

2. Yes and they love to watch us fight, trust me, I've been posting over there
since 2003. They love to watch us splinter and bicker. Nothing makes them happier. And I will be dammed if I give them any happiness or bring sunshine into their lives.

7. I don't spend a lot of time worrying about what makes monomaniacal morons happy...
I'm screwy that way.

11. Well I know one thing that always makes them happy
and if we can deny them of that one thing, then it is a victory IMO. If we can just debate, inform and act civil toward each other next year - it will drive them up a wall.

And that makes me happy. :)

3. Me too.
I certainly have my preferred and not so preferred candidates, and the eventual nominee will determine whether I just vote, or also volunteer and donate, but I'll gladly vote for any announced Dem (yes even Dennis) over any announced or vaguely realistic Reoublican candidate. The idea that moderates and Blue Dogs are going to bolt to Giuliani makes no sense. Above all that segement of the political scene values economic stewardship, and we sure as hell have enough sense to see how the Reps are managing that.

4. I'm just worried about all the 'love' for Ron Paul right now on DU.
We MUST not vote for an R folks! There is nothing to love about any of them!

Vote D or don't vote. I hate to say that, but it is how I feel.

6. He's antiwar
and DU has some people who have that as their only issue, it seems.

Just keep informing them about how batshit crazy he is on everything else, maybe it will penetrate. In the meantime, alert on posts that suggest abandoning the Democratic Party in favor of this lunatic.

10. Don't get me started..
The strange thing is I'm far closer to libertarianism than most DUers, as I am one of those hated Blue Dog centrists, but even I recognize a batshit crazy loony libertarian when I see one. I know some people are single issue voters but surely there is SOME limit to the price you'd pay for the speediest exit from Iraq possible?

5. A lot of us are still undecided about who gets our vote
in the primary. That's the reason for what you perceive to be fighting.

It's necessary to get the information about the candidates out there for those of us who are undecided, and that means their records of boneheaded votes as well as their strengths.

Deal with it.

If we marched in lockstep and pretended all our candidates were paragons, then we'd be Republics.

Until we have a nominee, we'll continue to discuss the good and bad about all of them, thanks, and we who are undecided will be grateful for all of it.

8. Oh I am undecided too, not that i will matter in the end
because the last man/woman standing gets my vote. I am dealing with it, I just posted how I feel.

My real probelm is I just hate seeing That Other Site gloat when we act like 5 year olds.
