Impeach Bush, if CIA leak charges true
Edited on Mon Nov-26-07 11:37 PM by Octafish

An excellent idea printed in the Arizona Republic, of all places:

Impeach Bush, if CIA leak charges true

Nov. 26, 2007 12:00 AM

If former White House press secretary Scott McClellan's charge that President Bush and Vice President Cheney knowingly instructed McClellan to lie is true, then that would be a patent obstruction of justice.

At the very least, the House Judiciary Committee should conduct a hearing to have Bush, Cheney and McClellan testify, under oath, on the matter.

And if McClellan's charge is true, if the Democrats had any nerve, then they would impeach. And if the Republicans had any integrity given what they did vis-à-vis President Clinton, then they would, too.

Actually, given their inability or unwillingness to stop the war, the Democrats could chart this court to overcome the general perception that they have no nerve; and given Bush's dismal approval ratings, it should not take much integrity for the Republicans to join in. - Eugene D. Cohen, Phoenix

I can't find the photo, but the AP cutline said it all:

"Dan Quayle, left, holds a pumpkin next to his head."

They owned, I understand, 11 papers, including The In]dianapolis Star and the Arizona Republic. Too bad the 'web is making newspapers a thing of the past. These sound like old-fashioned Republicans. Unlike Bush and the neo-con crowd, this branch of the puke tree just rips off the poor, instead of killing them, too.

6. I'm new at this but what I've noticed is that they host
propaganda about Latin America before anyone else picks it up. Maybe they just have thicker rubber gloves.

12. Helping United Fruit Company was a Dulles speciality.
I wonder what kind of contacts the Quayle clan has south of the border. Like, Cuba.

Do know Dan is a PNACer.

13. Nothing I like better than to see the imperial pResident and his SO -
VP of War-Profiteering and War-Mongering to appear under oath and not perjure themselves in front of Waxman. I think Snarely would "retire" first, but Smirko could entertain us with his 9/11 "deer in the headlights" facial expressions.

14. I am begining to wonder...
Percisely who is being served by this opposition to impeachment?

None of the arguments against impeachment are persuasive.

What is the reasoning against it?

Surely Rahm and Hoyer are not that all powerful?
