Now that CSPAN has gone off the deep end, Mark Penn, Hillarian aide

is polluting the airways on MSNBC.

I actually get up at 4 am and watch C-SPAN. This is the first time that I can recall in it not being on. It was like the sun not coming up one day.

What's going on?

Their idea of a story is whether some football team will play next week because of the death of their player.
MSNBC had hillary's chief campaign aide, spinning her position, ignoring facts, and promoting his book. AND NOT ONE HARD QUESTION ABOUT HIS anti-union work, his many pro-corporate positions that Hillary seems to have adopted.
But the good news is MSNBC just put on Ron Paul


IT MUST BE A CONSPIRACY! What is going on? Did Dick Cheney die? Did we invade Iran, and they are hiding that fact from us?

The interview with Ron Paul on "Joe" was awful....we heard nothing about Paul's viewpoints. All Joe was interested in, I guess, was how did Ron Paul raise all those dollars so fast! Horrible programs this morning.

MSNBC - joe girlkiller had Mark Penn on.
CSPAN - had three doofuses, two of whom are named grandy and andy. Penn was NOT on CSPAN. He was shilling for hill and his book on msnbc.

If CSPAN HAD Penn on, I would have expected better questions, more knowledgable inquiries, and some issues like his business clients, etc. There was none of that on MSNBC.

I hope that clears up any unclarity my original post caused, and for that I apologize.

First, as much as I think Scarborough's a douche, it's my understanding that he wasn't even in the office when that girl died. He was hundreds of miles away.

But the point is, why shouldn't shows about politics have Mark Penn on as a guest? Do you think having somebody on as a guest is an endorsement? What, exactly, is the problem?

however, is it not the responsibility of the host to at least inquire of the guest at least one or two issues which matter? There are a whole slew of issues revolving around Penn, and Scar-burro never even touched on one. Even the Daily show, which shills authors with the best of them, spends time and effort to ask critical questions and dig into important, timely issues. Come to think of that, the Daily show does more of that than many news programs.
Lou Dobbs, despite his myopia on immigration, (and his insanity a a few other issues) actually asks some hard questions of his guests. And he gives them an opportunity to respond. (unlike everyone on Faux).

I guess my complaint is that Joe was acting like a shill, with not one incisive or critical question. Lazy? Biased? Both? I dunno.

As much as you and many others here want the smear-by-association tactic to be used against Clinton, it would just be silly for a national talk-show host to ask Penn about his PR firm. It's not relevant to national issues.
