U.S. and Iraq will negotiate agreement on long-term relations

well, another slap to all of us regarding our exit out of Iraq, we are not going anywhere, SOB *!

The White House has announced that it reached a deal with the Iraqi government to negotiate a formal agreement to define long-term relations between the nations, including the legal status of U.S. military forces remaining in Iraq.

Lieutenant General Douglas Lute, Bush's coordinator for Iraq issues, said: "It signals a commitment of both their government and the United States to an enduring relationship based on mutual interests."

I am sure Cheney is elated, mission accomplished huh Dick?
