Is there a chance that Trent Lott, bigot and seemingly all around bad guy, may not be gay?
While we wait to find out, I can peruse threads and build on my stereotype encyclopedia and add to my minority joke repertoire.

Homophobes universally claim sexual orientation is a choice, which means they repress their own homosexual urges to chose a heterosexual life.

Straight people know they are straight, it comes naturally so no choice is involved. Gay people who are honest with themselves also know they are gay, it comes naturally so no choice is involved.

The reason to believe homophobes are secretly gay is that they basically admit it when they say they've chosen to be straight, it must not come naturally to them.

related to being gay.

Would it not be better to wait and see rather than just

about him and a male escort. But it's very unsubstantiated and from a web site I've never heard of before. Tom Tomorrow had it up but then took it down because it wasn't substantiated.

And his disgrace would be no less enjoyable if it were a straight sex scandal, but there is more to his abrupt departure than was reported in the Washington Post. Larry Flynt confirms it's about sex, the escort's denial is lame.

Who knows, I'm thrilled that he went out in shame, I just hope it becomes widely known.
