The Hassids are loud an opinontated but are not prone to violence as far as I know.

Are the Hassids, too, perhaps "overshooting?" Judging by this report, that's what I'd call them both "loud and opinionated."

I just am speaking from my previous experience with CodePink, therefore I have personal knowledge (having seen the "overshooting" myself) but I can see the DJers getting nasty as well, we Jewish folk have a tendency to think we are the only ones allowed to speak authoritatively on Israel.

I dont know about a hate site, but perhaps we have different definitions.

All I ever see at their rallies are older women (>40) and was even told by one lady at a protest that their primary focus for recruitment is "mothers". Sorry I in no way meant it to be sexist, just an observation, please consider this mea culpa my correction and clarification.

That they should be. I abstain from political demonstrations while I wear the uniform. Just as you will notice that I refrain from directly criticizing my chain of command or congress on these boards.

Why? Because it is part of my job and my obligations as an active duty officer to follow the UCMJ.

Was it that I think what they say sometimes does us more harm than good and is not going to stop the war its just going to cause middle america to say "there goes those load washed-up hippies", well that is my opinion. BTW "sacred cow" is a very common expression to show a disdain for unnecessary veneration.

People sometimes have misconceptions, and since LeftishBrit asked, figured would give their info. If you are a recruiter, or were, I imagine we may have words also as I consider that job pretty low. But then I'm an uppity middle aged woman also.

I simply dont like them overall, I was an officer recruiter and I did it before and after the Iraq war. I never once lied to a recruit so if you consider me "pretty low" you can think what you want and I can think, you will get over it (or not, I dont really care).
