Dick Cheney's Heart Problem A Conspiracy To Keep Al Gore Down

Great headline huh? I almost feel like saying, 'made you look.'

Yesterday was supposed to be one of those banner days for the national media. Al Gore, the man who won the popular vote to become President of the United States of America, returned to the Oval Office for the first time since he left office as Vice President. Before the hate mail arrives, notice I said "national" media.

Instead of a retread of the 2000 election, which I firmly expected, the story was pushed aside with coverage of the current Vice President's latest heart problem. It still made the news, just not in the expanded, lovefest I image they had preplanned.
