EMI wants to cut RIAA and IFPI funding

"Record label EMI has woken up to the fact that the RIAA and IFPI is making it about as popular as the Boston Strangler.

According to Reuters, the hawker of popular beat recordings wants to cut its funding to the RIAA and IFPI."

1. When you sue your customer base, of course you're not going to be popular.
Either adopt the new technology, or go extinct. They want to go extinct judging by their behavior.

2. The RIAA needs to die off.
They are archaic. EMI sees what they are doing. There is no future for the RIAA. Attacking one's customers is NOT anyway to do business.

3. i noticed universal has made peace with youtube
and no longer delete universal artist`s video`s. any music label who delete videos from youtube is cutting their own throats. i have readwhere young kids that are discovering artists from the 50`s and 60`s that they really like. hell most of the artist that i grew up listening to i have never seen in person or on tv until youtube came along. we live in interesting times
