This morning Faux announced that "Statesman" Henry Hyde died!

This morning Faux announced that "Statesman" Henry Hyde died!
I was channel surfing and was passing by FAUX when I saw they were talking about Hyde and on the screen they were mourning the loss of "Statesman" Henry Hyde! Now I ask you if it was a Democratic ex-congressman who died would they refer to him or her as a "statesman"?

I shouldn't speak ill of the dead but I think "hypocrite" Henry Hyde would have been more appropriate or at least ex-congressman. What made him a statesman?

so I thought they said they were mourning the loss of a "Snake's Man", as in, a snake oil salesman (with all due respect to snakes).
