glen beck and nancy grace are absolutley terrible. They are the pits.

hey, morning joe and tucker are just a waste of airwave space too. They should juggle the schedule and bring back a 24/7 headline news channel to give people an alternative to that disaster on cnn.

1. remember how CNN used to be?
I guess it was up until about ten, or fifteen years ago. Maybe the change coincided with the Lewinsky affair, or maybe the OJ Simpson trial.

They used to have anchors (Natalie Allen and Lou Waters come to mind) that sat at a desk and gave you the news. That's shocking, isn't it?

They would give details of stories of actual significance, from around the country and, even, from around the world.

They didn't become fixated on some tragic, but ultimately meaningless, event.

And they didn't call something "breaking news," if it happened twelve hours ago. When you heard "this is CNN breaking news," you'd race to the tv, because it was bound to be something truly important.

That was a long time ago.

Maybe Ted Turner should give it a go again. And this time, NEVER sell to corporate America.

continuous on air talent, plus newswriters, and staff.

If you take old DATELINES and convert them into documentaries, all you need is a couple of guys to push buttons. Cheap.

Morning Joe sucks. It's worse than horrible, and no fancy set or attractive cohosts can polish that turd.

I suspect that he'll be losing his audience to Imus, who comes back on the air MON on radio.

Edit to correct factual error.
