An "Agree to disagree" relationship binds them.

Frankly, any talk of a political union just smacks of utter delusion.

1. I agree
I think Kucinich supports Paul for consistently standing up to the GOP on Iraq. He's said as much.

2. I have good friends who are fundamentalist Christian Republicans
We agree to disagree about politics. And we help each other out on other matters. When my friend's husband died, I offered solace. She wrote me a touching note about how that opened her eyes to the shared humanity of all faiths. Not all Republicans are raving lunatics.

3. I agree, Kucinich was delusional to propose such an idea
I am glad Paul rejected it, and Kucinich has taken it off the table.

-----

Q: Governor Richardson has said that if he becomes the candidate, we will start announcing... setting up what his cabinet would be, probably including what his running mate would be. Would you be prepared to discuss that sort of thing?

DK: I'll tell you who I am thinking about.

Q: Ok.

DK: I'm thinking about Ron Paul. (A bunch of hooey about eagles needing two wings to fly, not worth transcribing.) Think about how it could unite the country. You know, having a Democrat and a Republican on the ticket.

-----

Dennis, there are many better ways to unite the country. We don't need Republicans as VPs.

7. What's there to debunk? Are they his words or not?
Either he said it or he didn't. The "line of thinking" seems pretty clear in the transcript provided.

8. Enough already
Kucinich doesn't represent a serious threat to any Dem candidate. There's nothing to be gained by continuing to beat this dead horse.

Whichever Dem you support, they are not in danger of losing because of Kucinich.

The Plain Dealer pulled this latest in their long history of dirty tricks against Kucinich (taking his words and reporting them out of context, as your example shows) because they want a Republican to win his Congressional seat. Those of us who live in Ohio would like to keep him as a Congressman and would appreciate your support in not helping the PD steal the seat.

Thanks.

5. They agree on big issues like ending wars --- both on Iraq and on 'drugs.'
Ron Paul is for ending the Iraq War and decriminalizing drugs.

Those alone are sufficient reasons for me to consider supporting him for President.

Fortunately, DK agrees with Paul on these issues, so I don't have to.

11. So "geezers" are not allowed to be sexual? "Old" people must give up their sexuality
because you don't find them to be aesthetically pleasing?

What about "ugly" people?
People who are too short? Too heavy?

Who else would you deny sexual expression to? Should everyone check with you before having sex or something?

I hope I make the grade. I was planning to ply my husband with a nice meal, a fire, some wine and a couple of good action movies tonight. Should I submit our photos to you first?

BTW, it doesn't really make a shits worth of difference what the relationship between Kucinich and Paul is, since neither of them will ever be President.

15. Carville and Matlin had sex right in front of you with your eyes taped open a la
"conspiracy theory"?

I'm not getting this. Who forced you to personally witness adults not meeting your standards of beauty engaging in sexual expression?
