These primaries happen real fast. What you won last week becomes quickly forgotten.

Is Huckster picking up in the polls in other states, or will winning Iowa do for him what it did for Bob Dole and dick Gebhart in 1988 and George Bush in 1980?

1. I live in NW Arkansas
the reddest part of this state. I have seen NO bumper stickers or posters for Huckabee. I think this is because he RAISED TAXES while in office and forced the closing of small rural schools.

4. Yeah, but the bible bangers love him
and the party insiders know they can get some corporate hack in there in the #2 slot, promise Huckabible the moon on social issues, and have the corporate hack continue to loot the taxpayers to fatten the rich.

I really do think he'll be the nominee. Just watch that #2 slot.

2. My guess is he plays real well in the bible belt.

But that he will not be a legitimate player anywhere else. I think the proof will be in New Hampshire.

3. Yeah he will not win in NH
but if he wins Iowa then that opens the door for SC. If he wins there, He is going to have all the momntume going into Super Tyedsay.

5. His buzz from Iowa is serving him well. I expect to see him gain more ground.
He's been the one I've been watching all along.

6. Agree. He's more dangerous in many ways than the "frontrunner" candidates.
I'm hoping his forward motion can be slowed by his opponents' attacks so that we can finish off what's left of him in November, if it comes to that.

7. Yup. It would be nice of they can" take him out " for us.
I'd LOVE to have Rudy in the general. I don't think we'll be that lucky though.

9. That sounds right to me -- Rudy is imploding even as we speak.
Plus, he has a famous temper. He's strictly a big ego, short-fuse Republican.

10. Yes, in South Carolina.
Meaning he could be the candidate for the Taliban wing of the Republican party.
