NORTH householders face fines of up £110 if they throw out too much rubbish as councils address stringent new recycling targets.

Two local authorities in the region plan to fine people who overfill bins.

And almost half the councils we asked said they would not remove waste if bin lids were open because of overflowing rubbish.

Copeland council, in Cumbria, would issue a fine of £110 and Gateshead would slap on a £50 fixed penalty notice for persistent offenders.

In fact, i don't believe i've said anything about her...that whole "if you can't say something nice...". Edwards or Kucinich for me.
