Can Faux News get anything right?
Last night during their little college football show I heard two different announcers say Appa lay chian State. It's Appa lach ian State, soft a.

If they can't pronounce a prominent geographic feature of the Eastern United States then how can they be trusted to know anything about the world outside the United States?

Or do they just make shit up?

3. While I dont like defending Fox News, its offensive to compare Fox TV to FOx News
The Selection show was on Fox TV. My father works for 20th Century Fox Movies, and like FOx TV, they are not conservative propaganda like Fox News.

4. Well I say that it is you saying it wrong.
Germany thinks they live in a place called Deutschland.

People pronounce things differently in different parts of the country.

And either way, I still say I'm right.

5. The International Herald Tribune says I'm right
"By the way, it is pronounced app-uh-LATCH-un, not app-uh-LAYCH-un, and that goes for the mountains, too, not just the university."

9. I think I referred to it as app-uh-LAYCH-ia before
I moved from California to East Tennessee.

Then I learned for sure that it's app-uh-LATCH-un State U., according to the locals.

6. FOX is always "right." That's the point...to be a red herring so viewers...
Will falsely believe that they're getting unbiased "news" from the other corporate outlets, when in fact the others are indeed quite similar to the FOX model.

12. Western Carolina University is the school in Cullowhee
Appalachian State is in Boone
But why let facts stand in the way of a good post

That's how the media works: The story is more important than reality

11. What Do You Expect From A Bunch Of Jocks?
To watch Bears games I have to suffer through Faux Sports broadcasts...and I do mean suffer. If its not some washed-up coach or overpaid baseball announcer (Joe Buck), it's some rejects from the Mens Warehouse attempting to sound "cute" and "expert". Oh for the days of Ray Scott.

Be lucky these morons can even come close to pronouncing the name...don't dare give them a map and have them point out where the school (or the mountains for that matter) are located. Also, be assured they have no clue as to how the school's academics shapes up. Hell, someone at that school may have come up with the cure for cancer, but that doesn't matter if the team doesn't have a good running game.

14. They must hire fact checkers whose jobs it is to make sure everything is wrong
You get penalized at Faux for stating any true facts.
