The Russian election was far more important than the Venezuelan election----
but has little play here on DU.... - Putin IE: (the real Dictator) has shown us all how to steal an election, while Chavez, (the made for TV Dictator) shows us how to concede in a fair election.

oh BTW: One has Nukes....

1. You are mixing Parliamentary elections in Russia with Putin
You don't need to steal elections for the party you support when you have over 70% approval rating. Putin is genuinely popular in Russia, get a grip.

Actually Russian Parliament has a better people's representation than a US Congress. 4 political parties including the Communist party of Russia will be present in the next Duma.
How many independents do we have in the House of Representatives?
