Appearing in the LTTE's of my local rag the Akron Beacon Journal today.

Free speech, sort of

In response to your Thursday editorial on the Dixie Chicks' comments about George W. Bush (``Defiant Chicks''): I agree that they have a right to comment about the president, but not on public radio or television.

I do not have that opportunity to voice my opinion in front of huge audiences.
