"Hillary Camp: Rove Wants Obama To Get Nomination!"
Such a nice message by Hillary and her staff...
From http://tpmelectioncentral.com/

The Hillary campaign is cranking up their counter-attacks on Barack Obama, and this latest one from their official Hillary Hub site is certainly interesting:
http://www.hillaryhub.com/

The post links to Rove's latest column in the Financial Times, in which he told Obama to take off the gloves and go after Hillary in Iowa if he wants to win the nomination.

The Hillary campaign is really milking this thing for all it's worth. From their standpoint, Rove's column could be used to work against the perception that the Republicans really want to face Hillary, and that Rove might think Obama is actually beatable. In addition, the two pics and the headline play into another Hillary campaign narrative: That when the other Democratic candidates attack her, they're really just parroting Republican talking points and helping the GOP.

1. Hillary should talk. Pot calls Kettle black? She's the one being "back-doored" by Bush/Rove
Bush Offering ‘Back-Channel’ Political Advice To Democratic Candidates: Stay In Iraq

imgIn an interview with GQ correspondent Robert Draper for his book Dead Certain, President Bush described his Iraq strategy as “playing for October-November.” He explained that his hope was to “get us in a position where the presidential candidates will be comfortable about sustaining a presence,” and, he said, “stay longer.”

In an interview with the The Examiner’s Bill Sammon for his book The Evangelical President, Bush goes even further, explaining that he is actively “providing back-channel advice” to the Democratic presidential candidates on Iraq.

2. I cannot believe
that either Hillary's camp
or Obama's camp would be stupid
enough to fall into Rove's power
play. All he is doing is forcing
REACTION, not action. He is causing
some of the infighting. Never forget
for a minute, Rove wants a permanent
Republican majority. He continues to
work towards that goal. He will put
his evil architectural skills to work to fuck
up the Democratic election as much as
possible. If Hillary and Obama melt down
to constantly pointing fingers and slinging
mud all of the time, it will make them look
less desirable to the voters.

6. In '04 Rove wanted Dean to be nominated
I often wonder what would have happened that year if we had an in your face Democrat up against Bush.

7. What a riot!
For months all we've heard from the pie holes of the anti-Hillary tribe is "Oh the GOP/KKKarl/Right Wing/People That Bring 17 Items to the 15 Item Or Less Checkout Line want Hillary to get the nomination" .... and it's like it was written in stone for all to guide themselves by. Now this??

Shows what a steaming pile primary season turns this joint into.

8. What the hell is she doing?
Are they trying to drag Obama down with them by getting into a nasty back and forth, like Gephardt did with Dean the last time?

9. Just like you asked him, eh, Hill? Since you all were so kind to undermine 2004
for him and make sure Terry McAuliffe ignored all that election fraud the RNC worked on for four years.

Who's running this "perfect" campaign?

12. Anybody who claimed, or even secretly agreed that
Rove PREDICTING Hillary would win was indication that that's who the RW wanted to win can take issue with this without laughable hypocrisy. At least here there is SOME rationale. It's a long stretch between "I think X will win" and "Hey Y - here's how to beat X".

Ask yourselves honestly. If you didn't know the names would you be more likely to think this person wanted X to win or Y to win?
