Help. Air America on XM has been wacko today, anybody know what is
going on?

Music between segments, no Thom Hartmann...display says Randi Rhodes right now but Richard Green is on.

WTF?

1. every service particularly the corporate ones
are getting more and more fucked up as they keep trying to loot their companies at the cost of workable service.

2. XM seems to be losing the AAR signal all afternoon and pm
the displays haven't been right for some time, now, but today is definitely a signal problem. Pisses me off that they don't break in with some explanation...

5. It sounds to me that XM is playing AAR's live feed right now.
Edited on Mon Dec-03-07 10:50 PM by CaseyBuck
Instead of airing Thom Hartmann from 8-10 PM Eastern, and Mike Malloy from 10 PM-midnight Eastern, they're playing the Air America shows which air live in those time slots: Clout with Richard Greene, and Jon Elliot.

Hopefully, it's a temporary glitch, and not a permanent schedule change.

The http://xmradio.com/onxm/channelguide.xmc?ch=167">schedule on XM's website hasn't changed, if that's any comfort.

7. live network feeds
are...different..compared to what is normally heard:

many of them feed dead air during "mandatory" local breaks, some feed unrelated audio, some feed commercials for the coming week along with instructions and other queuing information.

if you lose your link to the local station's feed (complete with commercials and the like), services, in order to keep the programming going, will default to the raw feed.
