HIllary was running a fabulous campaign, as much as I hate to admit it, but now, she's fair game. She and Obama are officialy in the swamp.

I was afraid someone would unearth my Kindergarten essay, "Why I Like it When Ms. McCann Smacks My Bottom."

Now I see my fears were not unfounded.

6. I've said for 3 years now...
Hillary will not be the nominee. My prediction is the Iowa caucuses finish in one of these two orders:

1)Edwards
2)Obama
3)Hillary

or

1)Edwards
2)Richardson
3)Obama
4)Hillary

29. Edwards had a great reply the other day
When commenting on the 3rd grade thing, he said that when he was in third grade, he wanted to be either a cowboy or Superman. Great response, and a smart move trying to stay away from the silliness. This will benefit him big time.

We need a new phrase for Hillary. I propose "ate the puppy".

10. Whoa, a BIG mistake by her advisers, imo
Edited on Mon Dec-03-07 09:45 PM by Spazito
There will be blow-back on this because the public, right or wrong, has always seen Hillary Clinton as ambitious, the repubs believing that's a bad thing, others being either neutral or supportive of her ambitions. Given the very famous pic of Bill Clinton shaking hands with JFK and his belief at that time that he, too, could be President, for Hillary Clinton to use against Barack Obama the same accusations repubs lobbed at Bill is NOT smart politics, imo.

Edited to remove repeated phrasing.

23. I am surprised they would make such a puerile error...
Her campaign advisers are not new at this, they are quite experienced from what I have read, yet this, to me, is a PR error that only those without experience might commit.

14. wow,
just wow.

What you say and do at 9 can be used against you.

Do we take this back to in utero and use what the mothers smoke or drank against us?

What if my 2nd grade boyfriend, who's name I can't remember (but some savvy opposition research person could probably find out) is now in prison?

Oh never mind. My head hurts.

15. David Abrams, Lawrence O'Donnell, David Schuster, whoever is talking
is having a ball and find Hillary attacking Obama for a 3d grade essay he had written unbelievable, desperate and in a panic stage. Abrams showed some polls and how much she has fallen.

Really stupid and I am sure more to follow.

17. I've heard the opinion expressed that this was actually a joke.
Maybe so.

But if so, obviously a lot of people aren't getting it.

It that's so--this is a joke people aren't getting, Hillary has a problem.

If this is not a joke but an actual attack, it's really stupid (can you imagine someone being driven away from Obama over this?), and Hillary has a problem.

To encapsulate the situation, Hillary has a problem.

She really ought to do something about it.

21. It will be interesting to see if any damage control will be done and, if so,..
exactly how they will do it. They may, if done well, mitigate the damage but I don't see them able to erase it from the minds of a key constituency, the undecided. Those who support her will not leave due to this, those who oppose her will not change either due to this but those who have not yet chosen may well put some importance to this misstep.

25. She's not running for stand up comic of the year.
It was a stupid move for her to make and it's her first really big one.

I go to comedy central for my humor, not political ads.

24. This is stupid - of course both of them have GIGANTIC egos and long-held ambitions
It's true of almost all career politicians. We should be concerned about the positions of the candidates on the issues, not when they decided to become President.
