DVDs to troops in Iraq for Christmas
My daughter just sent this note out to her list:

"I'm just writing friends to make a request and if you can do it, please let me know. I just found out an old wonderful friend in the Army Jag corps is stationed in Iraq and while shipping a care package this morning, it occured to me that they might enjoy having movies to watch in the very little free time they have. So, if you have old dvd's (not screeners of course. . . so no one gets in trouble) that you might want to give to me, I will ship them over to this legal office in Iraq personally.

I know I'm not the only one who has Dvds that are fairly new sitting around and they would probably be more appreciated over there. If you want me to come pick them up I'm happy to do it (as its always nice to have excuses to visit friends) or if you want to drop them in the mail to my office or drop them off personally, I will handle everything from there. I will also make sure the name on the person they are from are on the DVD so they know who it came from.

Bill Shatner's office is getting some stuff for me together today, and I just think that this might be a nice little something extra for this office over there, to make the holidays go by a bit faster. . . and as I wrote this, a major casting company in LA just sent a handful of new dvd's up to my office! If we get too many I'll work with the local USO to get more addresses to send them to.

From what I understand the days are very long on that end. . .

much love to you during this holiday and I hope you have a healthy new year."

Of course I'm extremely proud of her. If you'd like to donate DVDs and have her send them, here's her business address:

D&A Fine Arts
12750 Ventura Blvd Suite 201
Studio City CA 91604
818.760.7583

Send them Attn: Dena
