Oh happy day!
It just hit me. There really isn't now much chance of Bush starting a war with Iran - thanks to the NIE report, the day has finally come when every single person can see the Chimperor has no clothes, and it is plain that the sycophants who still cling to him are nothing more than dangerous fools.

To me it feels like a huge weight has lifted. To me, it now seems like we can regroup with a new president in 2009, reassess our priorities and our place in the world, and start to make some progress on making our country well again, and slowly regaining our credibility, prestige and maybe even some moral authority again.

I wish I knew who it was that leaked the NIE or who it was that wrote those parts, for that person is a hero and I'd like to buy him or her a beer, or contribute to a lifetime free beer fund for him or her. It's time for hope again.

1. Truth didn't matter before....
And it sure as hell won't stop the maniac this time. And the gutless Dems will fund it.

4.  Unfortunately , I feel the same way
What I allude to is they have been lying all along and have been caught in many lies to date . So far we do know for certain that Iraq had no WMD's yet this did not change the minds of many voters in 2004 . Katrina happened which was a huge injustice and yet nothing is done still .

So now comes this bit of news and Bush comes along and spins it and tosses it to the side as nothing other than proof the Iranians were able to keep this a secret and can do it again .

With the memory of most americans being 27 minutes how far will this go before it gets swept under the rug or spun so far of the edge of truth that it just becomes one more part of one enormous lie .

I really wish I could find hope that this one thing will take this admin down or stop any future drum beating to bomb Iran .

One thing I have really finally come to realize is that no government is going to save us , it is going to take the people this time , there is no way around this .

Sure , people can hold hope in Hillary or Obama or Edwards but the proof only comes well after one is the next president , after the first 100 days .

People trusted Powell , many thought he would make a grand leader , hell they even trusted Oli North at one point . They trusted Reagan .

I am to damn old for this shit , It's been to long I have been hoping things would change and yet here we are worse off than the 60's in so many ways it's mind numbing .

2. Indeedy. Even CNN has been running the banner, "Wrong on WMD Again". It's been sweet.

5. Well I got the feeling after witnessing today's live performance from our resident "dict"tator that
it matters not what report is out there, an Iran invasion is still a go, all I witnessed is him stating that his position has not changed on wanted war with Iran along with the same reasons he continues to use...

6. Tweety just said the same thing. He is visibly relieved and says
between Christmas, Chanuka (sp?) and Kawanza these are good days. I'm paraphrasing but he's quite relieved. He and Biden having a great conversation.
