I missed the first hour or so, but they just showed his first "Electric" song and then him coming on and asking for an "E" Harmonica!

That was SO Cool! He asked, "Does anyone have an E Harmonica?!? ...just throw them up here if you do..."

An then you hear about 3 Harmonicas hitting the stage! Wow!

Oh, crap, it might not be a national feed, it's Fund raising time, so they just cut away during "Maggie's Farm."

It's on Georgia Public Broadcasting for most people in Georgia.

Sorry about that if it's not on where you are.

1. PBS now shows lots of commercials - 3 months of begging plus every weekend ugh
we contribute through work but have cut back this year. when they started showing the scummy carls junior commercials that was the last straw so to speak.

did catch a bit of little anthony from little anthony & the imperials last week - boy that guy can still outsing most anybody.

2. No, I missed that one. What city is the PBS Station showing Carl's Jr. ads?
That's F*cked up!

I really hate pledge week shows, because they are excellent shows, but they cut into them at the worst possible times for more begging.

Right now, GPB is showing "Stevie Ray Vaughan Live: Hard and..." (can't remember the full title) which is him at the 1982 Montreuex Jazz Festival and other stuff, then they are showing a 1 1/2 hours of Bob Marley and the Wailers!

I'm recording that one, I'm a long time Bob Marley fan.

5. Pledge week sucks! I hate the way they play the good stuff during pledge week.

3. I bought the DVD last week.
It's not bad. Most of it is his first two, acoustic performances. If you love Dylan, it's a nice treat.

4. It sounds like a great film, Ed Ward reviewed it on "Fresh Air" yesterday...
...and had some interesting insights about how it was made.

6. No Dylan on my PBS station, but I've got Paul McCartney: The Space Within Us
I'm really enjoying him despite those insidious pledge break thingies.
