A surprising number of people round these here parts are a lot more sympathetic to corporations...
than I would've imagined.
Has anyone else noticed this?
I would've thought that if ANYONE was a mutual enemy to every DU'er, it's the corporate overlords who pull the strings of Bush and Cheney.
Is this not the case?

8. I think the blame can be spread around
but for sure, the greedy corporate industries take the lion's share - absolutely

10. i agree that the people who got the ARM's share in the blame
but some of the ways people have talked about them in GD has been disgraceful. 'greedy fucks' was one colorful example.

2. I don't hate all corporations.
Many of them, yes, but not all.

Corporate personhood is a great stupidity perpetrated on the rest of us.

3. Not all of them are evil...
but the megacorporations that own all of the media, the insurance industry, and the defense industry are all pure, greed-driven evil.

6. every family farm however poor is a corporation,it is the way things r done for a variety of reasons
nearly every small business is a corporation, if you aren't you can get sued and lose everything including your home..everything.

incorporation provides personal protection, they are not inherantly evil

16. no, corporations, if you have ever studied their structure, are designed like onions...
and the SCOTUS knows that if nothing else so that you peel & peel & peel and there isn't a person in the middle if & when you ever get there smiling a sheepish little smile up at you...there is instead the utter lack of any person that is able to be held accountable; corporate 'person-hood' is therefore every bit as specious as 24HR Matinizing

corporations are, which it seems you are gamely attempting to illustrate, the *absence* of a human person; and many of their ee-veeiil policies bare that out in spades
