3. But terrorists don't deserve any rights!
And how do we know they're terrorists? Because we say they are! We can't have the damned court system getting in the way of finding these assholes guilty, can we? We can't take the chance that we might find out that these people are completely innocent, can we? Of course they're terrorists, and they're guilty as hell! Just look at the color of their skin!

:sarcasm:

7. Great ad ... encouraging me to make a needed donation ..
HOWEVER ... in my humble opinion, the U.S. Constitution was pissed upon shortly after * took office. He reportedly started his ILLEGAL SPYING before then.

9. I like Amnesty International so much I put their logo
on my checks! Of course each fall during the CFC campaign I fill out an allotment authorization. Other groups I donate to are Rails to Trails, Abortion Rights (forgot the exact name), Alzheimer's research, and Planned Parenthood.

This year I was shocked to see the heritage foundation and cato institute in the CFC catalog. Then again, this is Mississippi...the land where helmut-head is God...

10. Thanks, pinto!~
If bushites had done their job and then hadn't lied to get us to bomb Iraq we wouldn't be under their thumbs with this bogus "war on terror"..hey, maybe that's why they did it..ya think? :silly:

11. Surely a welcomed consequence for Bushco and the neocons...
One wants to dismantle the federal bureaucracy and one wants to spread democracy at the point of a gun. They got a twofer with the Iraq occupation and the 'global war on terror'.

:grr:

13. In the 80's my neighborhood group would meet monthly to write letter to renegade countries
whose dictators were "holding suspects without charge trial, permitting arbitrary detention, secret transfers, and dehumanizing treatment." We wrote presidents, premiers, and police chiefs of countries from Turkey to Uganda to South Africa. In our outrage we pleaded for universal respect for human rights. And shook our heads at the injustice. Now it is our own country. And my letters go to Congress. I want my country back.
