PsyOp soldiers wage 'battle for hearts and minds' in Iraq

RAMADI, IRAQ (2007-12-06) Since the war in Iraq began, the U.S. military has tried to establish peace by promoting a western system of democratic governance and civic responsibility.

But for many Iraqis, the reality of their history and daily lives pushes them away from the systems the military wants them to adopt.

Psychological Operations, or Psy-Op, specialists are the Army's front-line soldiers in the battle for hearts and minds.

2. While we're screwing around in poor Iraq, Pakistan is being radicalized
more every day and it's OUR fault. We chased the Taliban into the tribal region and now that area has been Talibanized. And those guys are even more radical than the Afghan Taliban was. Not only that, those people have linked up with extremist urban groups.

I heard a presentation by a journalist today, and the situation is very dangerous. al Qaida is setting up a LANGUAGE SCHOOL in that area so they can train anyone from any where.

If al Qaida or any terror group gets nukes, it will be because Bush ignored Pakistan while he bilked us to line his cronies' pockets. Sometimes I think these bastards want to blow up the world. They are suicidal.

4. The "journalist" seems to be in-bed-with the PsyOps brigade...
KWMU's Adam Allington is in Iraq with the 10th PsyOp Battalion and sent us this report.

The military and CIA learned about and applied the tools of psychology and marketing as well as the Republican party...
