Hilarious Mormon/Christian Talks on FR

I get such a kick out of the GOP choking on the religious tests they set up!

Love the David Frum mention - "If Romney feels compelled to acknowledge he believes Jesus is the "son of God," why can't we ask if he thinks Jesus is the brother of Satan?"

Inevitably the Mormon freeps and the Evangelical freeps go at it. LOL!! Just good fun because it's a reminder of the nightmare the GOP has created for itself by pandering to the Religious Right for the last 25 years. No coincidence that when Mitt's dad ran for Prez in the 60's, there wasn't a PEEP about his religion!

Just ask a fundamentalist Protestant what they think of Catholics as well as Mormons! If they are really die hard fundamentalists, they'll even go after other Protestant denominations. I grew up a Methodist, but some of my fundy cousins told me I was going to hell because I didn't attend their church. Even as a child I didn't get that kind of thinking--there were less than 500 members of their church--that would mean heaven was going to be a very lonely place!

the Puritans turned on each other in 1692 in Salem MA, and a number of innocent old women and one man were killed because of it.

If he really things "religion is a REQUIREMENT for freedom" wtf. Tell it to the Saudis or any other theocracy, theocracy is the OPPOSITE of freedom.

I don't know what it is about a secular government with religious freedom that is so threatening to them. They can "believe" the flying spaghetti monster for all I care, just keep it out of the government please.
