Poll question: Become the Political Oracle: Round One: Iowa
Edited on Tue Dec-11-07 03:14 PM by debbierlus
I am going to journal this post & I will posting polls for each primary. The person who successfly predicts the outcome of each the most primaries will become 'THE Political Oracle'.....Here is your chance to lay it on the line & show your true political prowess & insight! I am posting a few weeks ahead of time since the true political oracle will already know the outcome....:) Vote for who you think will win, not necessarily who you WANT to win.

Each round will be awarded points - the earlier primaries counting for much higher amounts. 20 points for Iowa.

In addition to answering the poll question, put down your choice in the reply threat, so that we will have documentation.

My prediction: Edwards takes Iowa & he will be the eventual nominee.

Let's all shake the collective Magic 8 Ball!

DON'T FORGET TO POST YOUR BET IN THE REPLY

4. How it will play out.
Edited on Tue Dec-11-07 03:27 PM by Radical Activist
The order they'll finish in:

Iowa: Obama, Edwards, Clinton, Richardson

New Hampshire: Obama, Clinton, Edwards, Dodd

Nevada: Edwards, Obama, Richardson, Clinton, Kucinich,

South Carolina: Obama, Edwards, Clinton, Biden (if he's still in the race).

Arkansas: Clinton will finish within only a few points of Obama in Arkansas on Feb. 5. It will effectively be the end of her campaign.

Obama will be the presumptive nominee after the Feb 19 primaries.

10. It seems like Obama is on the rise and Edwards is fading (I wish it were the other way around)
according to two recent polls not only in Iowa but in NH and SC.

14. Obama & Edwards are tied. Clinton isn't registering. Interesting.

I trust DU'ers more then the main stream media for their analysis. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out, if nothing else.

Lay your bets.

20. Edwards will barely eke out a win over Obama in Iowa
Clinton will come in third followed by Biden

NH: Obama narrowly over Clinton, Edwards quite a bit behind her, Biden.

SC: Obama, Clinton, Edwards, ?

NV: Clinton, Obama, Edwards

Super Tuesday: Clinton and Obama battle it out. It'll be close. If Edwards drops out before this, and endorses Obama, Obama wins.
