CNN compared Gore to Jerry Lewis; Miles O'Brien said Gore "may be the Nutty Professor"
http://mediamatters.org/items/200712110009?f=h_latest

Summary: On American Morning and CNN Newsroom, Veronica De La Cruz, Heidi Collins, Miles O'Brien, and Competitive Enterprise Institute senior fellow Chris Horner all compared Al Gore to Jerry Lewis, with De La Cruz stating that "like Jerry Lewis in France and David Hasselhoff in Germany, Al Gore seems to be more popular in Europe than he is here in the United States." During a report on Gore receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, which included a clip of Lewis in The Nutty Professor, O'Brien said, " Bush's approval rating in Europe? About 12 to 15 percent. Al Gore may be the Nutty Professor, but whichever side of the ocean he is on, he is still faring better than the man who beat him seven years ago."

No doubt a search about the "Competitive Enterprise Institute," will show
funding from energy companies.

Follow the money ... follow the money.

especially in America, not that the cabal of republicon homelanders would know anything about that since they are so anti-conservative, anti-children, anti-fiscal responsiblity, anti-environment, anti-family farm, anti-veteran, anti-serving honorably in the military, anti-honesty, anti-competence, anti-science, anti-healthy normal sex, and basically anti-American.

14. France and Jerry Lewis
These yokels never understand why Jerry Lewis is popular in France. Jerry Lewis is popular because he represents what the French think is the typical American. The French are laughing at us.
