Hillary needs to Either Win in Iowa or Finish 3rd, But NOT 2nd....

If Hillary cannot WIN Iowa, she would be better served to finish 3rd. Why? Because Edwards and Obama are splitting the anti-Hillary voters between them, and Hillary needs them BOTH in the race for the Nomination.

If Edwards or Obama comes in 3rd they will likely lose support and the survivor will benefit from a movement of those votes to them making a head to head race with Hillary a likelihood.

However, if Hillary finishes 3rd it would likely keep both Edwards and Obama in the race which means they would continue splitting the votes between them and make a Hillary victory more likely in later Primaries.
