They are one big club with some infighting but basically they no longer represent us. Most are wealthy and have been in Congress so long that they do not connect with "we the people". Until we change the system so they are not guaranteed reelection, we are stuck with this mess. If you have noticed there has been a lot of investigations and flustering and posturing but few convictions. Emails, letters, phone calls and petitions don't have much if any effect. Nancy says impeachment is off the table even tho most Americans want it. Nacy will have no trouble winning her next Democratic primary. This is what we have to fix.

numbers were posted, it not a glich. The 75,000 was this morning. Its 89,298 now.

and one time I checked it, it was about 81,000, and then less than an hour later, it was about 89,000. Maybe they had some other signatures from earlier today when the servers were backed up. Whatever happened, there was definitely a big sudden jump in the numbers.

that could have been the case I have been having a hard time getting in all day to check the numbers, their server has been really busy. 89,872 now.

It was over 90 and then, wham, back to 83K something.

Will this *actually* help efforts to impeach Cheney, or is it just going to result in making people feel like they're Doing Something?

I'd like to see that evil old fuckstick quit in disgrace as much as the next guy, but I doubt the effectiveness of an online poll to help make it happen.

Congress doesn't represent us. Write all you want but Nancy has taken impeachment off the table. Get it, impeachment is off the table.

understand your cynicism, I suffer from that at times also but I would rather feel good about doing something than to just give up hope, we might not change anything but at least we can try..
