Could it be because most of the Dems on the BOE are county employees placed there by their bosses and none of them have enough computer skills between them to send an email or do a Google search? Yes, it could.
Cuyahoga County elections board takes no action on voting machine swap
Even a marathon meeting that attracted interested parties from across the country could not compel the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections to drop its current touch-screen voting system.
After an all-day session, about six hours longer than usual, half of the board members said they opposed changing voting systems before the March 4 presidential primary - a switch Ohio's elections chief has urged.
"You would have to move mountains and rivers to convince me to install a new system before March," Board President Jeff Hastings said after the meeting, which was attended by voting-machine vendors from Nebraska and Texas.

The board's fourth member, Sandy McNair, said he was undecided. The board is to meet again either on Thursday or Thursday, Dec. 27.
