1. Seeing Bill and Bush together gives me hope
They have done great things together while the idiot son sits with his thumb up his ass.

I have no problem with Bush senior being involved with Bill. It is good for the country's image.

11. what ARE you talking about? yeah, "great things"--
so they showed up together for Katrina relief, hopefully to try to get everyone to forget who should have really been providing relief for Katrina--that worthless drunken spoiled-brat FOOL of a son of the Iran-Contra traitor. Like wow, big fucking deal, I am soooo impressed -- NOT.

Good for the country's image? Like the traitor who sold arms to Iran to fund death squads in Nicaragua -- and then Billy boy "closed the book" on that-- I wonder why???

Yeah, GHWB is sooo well loved around the world. He really did a helluva job for the South Africans under apartheid, and the Central Americans--that legacy of death squads, bloodshed, civil war, and misery--and, oh, don't forget his little puffery against Noriega and Hussein, his wars to make sure the corporatist/globalist/greedy-ass PIGS would still be in control, keeping their jackboots on the throats of the peasants without "upstarts" and "rogues" like "Pineapple Face" threatening their little empire.

what are you smoking anyway?? some of that greed-head corporate-kissass imperial-war fake-democrat DLC weed, I see. figures.

27. Between the Bushes and the Clintons,
over 2 MILLION Iraqis have been exterminated.
Those numbers are up in the Pol Pot range, and Hillary has promised to keep the slaughter going for years.

Seeing those two (Bill and GHWB) together gives me despair. Makes me start thinking dark thoughts like "Maybe Nader was right."

The Democratic Party is a BIG TENT, but there is NO ROOM for those
who advance the agenda of THE RICH (Corporate Owners) at the EXPENSE of LABOR and the POOR.

14. Clinton is the ultimate egotist
The problem is he's making this election a referendum on him.

If Obama is elected and asks him to go around the world as kind of a good will ambassador for Amurka he'd do it in a heartbeat as long as he could keep his face on the TV screen.

I don't think he really gives a flyin fuck if Hillary is elected as long as he has the opportunity to pontificate on crap like this.

It's really kind of pathetic, the guy is so irrelevant. He was an OK president but he's turned into an attention whore. And he forgets there are a lot of people in this country who just plain hate his fucking guts.

He's achieved what he has wanted his whole life - he now gets to hobnob with the elite like poopy bush. If he doesn't STFU he'll kill Hillary's chances completely.

28. Behind closed doors...
...the Clintons, the Bushies and the rest of the elite neoconners--have been
running this country for some time.

Because they're so used to this reality--they sometimes forget that "We The People"
aren't totally clued in--as we erroneously assume that democracy is alive and well.

Come on people...The Clintons sold out to the powermongers (led by Bush, the neocons
and the rest of the elites) a long time ago. We have no opposition party fighting
against Bush--because there is no longer an opposition.

Bill let it slip--because the deals between the power-elite thugs are sooo yesterday.
They've been operating like this for a few election cycles.

Does anyone remember during Katrina, when Bill went to NO and seemed truly pissed off
by what he saw? He started speaking out against the Junior. Bill went out among
the people of NO, and spoke with them honestly and openly. It made Junior look like
an ass. Within a week, there were two women who came out of the woodwork--who staged
a press conference at the Clinton library. They alleged that Clinton had an affair with
them.

Does anyone actually think this was coincidence? Clinton (or anyone, for that matter) steps
out of line and they've got their blackmail and dirty-tricks waiting in the wings.

Even though Bill Clinton sold his soul a long time ago, I think he goes against them on
rare occasions and has Freudian slips--because deep down, a part of him is on the side of
"We The People." It's too bad that this side of him will be smacked down, and that's the
end of it.

All we can do is risk the pain of shedding the denial--about the sick state of our country--and
make damn sure that Hillary Clinton is not our nominee.

In a New York second Inca was eliminated from the politics of the dog eat dog world.

Bill doesn't just 'keep his enemies close' as he believes, but Bill was set up to protect Poppy Bush into the 90s because Bushies and Jackson Stephens EXPECTED Poppy to get impeached after the BCCI report came out in Dec 1992.

Bill inherited alot of outstanding matters when he took office and deep-sixed all of them.

31. Bill is NOT helping Hillary.
I saw a video clip of Bill campaigning with Hillary in Iowa yesterday.
Bill grabbed the mike from Hillary, brushed her to the back, and assumed Center Stage. Hillary stood meekly in the background behind Bill. It was definately an "All About Me" moment.

As poor a president as Bill was for Working Americans, he sure does know how to work a crowd!
I felt sorry for Hillary standing back in the shadows.
She should relegate Bill to a status of just another supporter and NEVER give him The Mike when they are on stage together.

In all fairness to him, we all change.

But, he is vital to what happens for America.
When he is in this mind set, I'm not so sure HE is the PRESIDENT that I want to have again. Nor am I sure that HE would let HER be President.

Do you think that his trauma after having the Heart Surgery has affected him?

Parry brings up Bill's dislike of Walsh in this article:

http://www.consortiumnews.com/2007/100307.html

The Clintons and the Bushes

By Robert Parry
October 3, 2007

Editor’s Note: Given Hillary Clinton’s emergence as the frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination, a Consortiumnews.com reader asked that we post the entire first chapter of Robert Parry’s 2004 book, Secrecy & Privilege: The Rise of the Bush Dynasty from Watergate to Iraq.

The book opens with a scene early in the second year of Bill Clinton’s presidency with him explaining to White House guests why he didn’t pursue geopolitical scandals that had implicated George H.W. Bush in gross abuses of power and arguably criminal acts.

President Clinton made clear he saw historical truth as less important than his hopes for Republican cooperation on his domestic agenda. But this willingness to sweep major scandals under the rug left the White House back door ajar for a restoration of the Bush Family dynasty a half dozen years later – with disastrous consequences for the American Republic.

The relevance of this story today is that Bill Clinton’s misguided “pragmatism” seems to a characteristic of Hillary Clinton’s political persona, too, as she hedges her positions on the Iraq War and signals a willingness to support a dangerous confrontation with Iran.
>>>>>>>>>>>>

Parry allows the entire article to be posted, for those of you who would like to pass this on to other forums who will allow it.

Family. If Sen. Clinton gets the Nomination, the BCF won't take part of savaging her. Of course, others in the RWing surely will. If she becomes Pres., she will take her broom & sweep all the Busholini Crimes under a rug that is in the WH basement. She will say that "America must move forward & that the dredging up the past is not productive."
